Outdoor Findings

This past week while outside, we noticed a couple unique things around the house. I came home from work and my Dad was getting ready for mow our lawn (he's such a nice dad!!) and he said "Hey come here, I want to show you what I found". He had been picking up branches in the yard and found this Moth. He had thought it had just come out of its cocoon, it was just sitting flapping its wing really slow. I quick ran inside to get my camera, its just too pretty not to take it's picture!!

The next day I showed these pictures at work, and one of my co-workers said that they had taken pictures of two other moths up at the Hospital that someone had found the day before. So we then decided to do a little more research and figured out that they are cecropia moths and that it is one of the largest moths found in North America. This one is a female, because the body is more rounded at the end.

The other thing that we found over the weekend is more funny than anything. My sister, Marisa came over to help me put together a desk. We were walking down our ramp to our garage to get started on it and Marisa noticed on our ramp something very unusual and something that we've never noticed!! She said "Hey, you have a face on your ramp! And it looks just like Princess Laya!!" I didn't believe her at first, but then after seeing it I immediately grabbed my camera!! And then yelled at Nick to come see it for himself! This is what we have on our ramp! I think it looks like a mix between Princess Laya, and a Chinese warrior don't you think? *laughs*

Tim & Faith

I went to Omaha with my friend Nikki to a Tim McGraw & Faith Hill concert Wednesday night. This was my first country concert I had been too, and boy was it a good one!! I'm not a huge fan of country music, but I do like Tim & Faith. We had excellent seats, we were in the 8th row. They sang in the round and they had four catwalks extending from all four sides. The concert lasted for 3 hours, and after a half hour walk to get to our car and a stop at I-hop for food, we got home at 2:45 am, but it was SO worth it!! Here are a few pictures!

6 Years +

Nick and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary on June 2nd, 2007. I thought it would be fun to post a few pictures of our relationship together. We have been together for a total of 9 years, it just doesn't seem like it's been that long. Time flies when you're in love!! :)

First Blog & Relay For Life

This is my first blog........I've seen lots of these blogs and have debated on weather or not to start one. so we'll see how this goes and if I keep this updated or not!!

This weekend is Wayne's Relay For Life Cancer walk. I don't usually participate, but we usually go for a little bit during the evening. I bought and decorated two luminaries this year. I decorated one for my Mom and one for my Grandpa Clark. I hope the weather cooperates for the teams this year.

Until next time.....
